Please read the following directions for our virtual auditions this year, and let us know if you have any questions!
STEP 1: Attend our informational meeting via Zoom with a guardian on Thursday, April 16th from 6:30 pm- 7:30 pm. If you can't make it, no problem! Email [email protected], and she can send you any of the information you missed. STEP 2: Check out the audition routine on HERE Practice, practice, practice! STEP 3: Hang out with the 2019/2020 dance team on ZOOM for a clinic. Watch as our coach and captains break down the routine for you. Can’t attend? No worries! Shoot Mrs. Pollard an email at [email protected], and she’ll send you the recorded ZOOM session. Topic: Dance Team Audition Clinic Time: Apr 23, 2020 01:00 PM Pacific Time Email Mrs. Pollard for the Zoom clinic password. [email protected] STEP 4: Film the routine! Attire must be school appropriate. No revealing clothing. Place your phone or camera horizontally so that your whole body is captured dancing in the frame. Please state your name and grade at the beginning of the audition, film the routine, and you’re done! Do NOT add filters or effects. Send your video to [email protected] by April 30th at midnight. If the file is too big to email, send it to her through Google Drive. Make sure your parent permission slip is included in the same email. The 2020/2021 dance team will be announced on May 4th. Mrs. Pollard has worked for the Hart District as an American Sign Language Interpreter for 20 years. Before that, she was the resident choreographer and children's theater director at Gold Coast Theater Conservatory in Thousand Oaks, CA.
